I love jackets
and coats and blazers. All types of
outerwear really, but especially jackets.
It will come as no surprise therefore that this week’s Wednesday Wish is
for a Day Birger et Mikkelsen Odyssey Day jacket.
For a change however, this is not something that I’ve seen in a magazine
or through a shop window. This I have
seen up close and personal; I’ve touched it, felt the fabric and admired the
finish.
To be honest,
had I just seen this on a website I would probably have moved on without a
second glance. But in reality, this is
gorgeous. The colour palette is perfect
and I could see it slotting beautifully into my wardrobe. This photograph doesn’t do it justice as the
cream is an almost buttery gold whilst the
grey is a very soft forgiving shade. It
could be dressed up or down and with a nod to the current pattern style, it’s
on-trend whilst being a little different to the myriad of boxy style jackets on
the rails right now. Love it!

Hi there!! Like you, I adore outerwear-especially jackets and blazers. I love statement jackets and this is a fine example of that, I'm sure if you had the chance to invest in it, it would really be a luxury style staple in your wardrobe!

That's what I regard as a trophy jacket. I love them. Every girl should have a little jacket like this which just takes your outfit up a notch. It would be perfect for you as it is more chic and not so typically on trend as some of the other ones out there which means it has more longevity which is always financially wise (ooh get me).
